Katie Chudy (Barszcz) had been creating recipes in her Small Boston Kitchen since 2009 when she realized that in the kitchen was where she was happiest. In January 2011, she gave up the glitz and glamor of corporate HR for a chef's knife and coat. After graduating from The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, she has been working as a personal chef, culinary instructor and caterer throughout the Greater Boston area. She is also a food writer and photographer. Most recently, Katie wrote and photographed her first cookbook, Superfood Sandwiches, which was released in June 2015 from Fair Winds Pres. In her spare time she enjoys making cheese at home, watching food related TV (the good, the bad and the real bad) and spending time traveling throughout New England and beyond with her burger-loving husband, Richard. She loves Dijon mustard, the color blue and can't live without coffee. She prefers cheese to chocolate, any time, any day.
